Ok, so amazingly all four mice, I mean children, I mean cherubs, are sleeping, so I have a minute to try to figure this out! Pictures are proving a little difficult, but I will do my best. I plan on putting up new and old postings randomly as my memories hit me. . . Since I started having children, everyone has told me to enjoy it while it lasts because they grow up too quickly. Some days I agree and some days I don't, but every time I see my children walk away from me down the hallway, for years now, my though has always been, "One of these times they are going to walk back out here, and I'm going to realize that they are TOO BIG, and they have actually grown up TOO FAST, as everyone is always telling me they will." So, one day I decided to take pictures of my babies, while they were still babies, walking away from me down the hallway. Sounds weird, I know, and if I hadn't told you that story, you'd probably think I'd completely lost my lid, but I haven't, not yet at least. So now I'll attempt to put up those pics. . . Cross your fingers . . . Didn't work first time, trying again . . . and again . . . (I'm sure it's the computer's fault!) . . . we'll just try one pic now . . .
Got it! On this particular day, they were playing "Mommies and Daddies and babies" (a common theme at our house) and then they all left to walk down the hallway (well, maybe it was suggested to them on this particular day, nevertheless, they did . . . )
And the stopped to visit in the hall . . . It's amazing how they cover the babies' carseats just like Mommy does, to protect from the kansas wind, and Elizabeth normally puts her whole arm through the handle, just like Mommy does. . . nevertheless, they all returned down the hall today, normal size, and goofy as ever! These Mommies & Daddies & Babies play day pictures were taken in March of 2008.

Ok - I am stalking your blog. I don't see any pics, yet. Maybe they're still loading.
ReplyDeleteWell, first entry with pictures is done. All 4 are awake now, so no time to perfect spacing, etc . . .
ReplyDeleteI see them now!!! Awwwww - cute! I always wanted a baby carseat to play with when I was little - only then I think it was just a carrier, because did we have carseats back then?
ReplyDeleteYeah, no carseats back in our day- remember, we're OLD! After this Christmas, Elizabeth ended up with 2 carseats, 3 strollers, highchair, 2 baby playpens, I can't even remember it all . . . But it works 'cause he brothers like to play Daddy as much as she likes to play Mommy! :) . . . Shows that they have lots of good Daddy roll models around them :)
