6-15-08 Mulberries at Binghams

IN PROGRESS - - - Debbie invited us to come out and pick mulberries at their new house which they have made amazing transformations to- I would have never guessed it the same house! Anyways, the kids had a blast!!! (This is only 1/2 the pics, site is having troubles.)

There wasn't near so much eating or even picking mulberries as there was painting faces and shirts . . .

It didn't take Isaiah long to embrace the mom's-letting-me-get-as-dirty-as-possible atmosphere!

Next, after Debbie made their faces and shirts as dirty as possible, it was time to much mulberries with our feet . . . And Debbie just couldn't resist- The center of Dani's tie-died shirt was pleading for her to make just one more mulberry stain.

Can you see the look on Isaiah's face?!? Wonder, awe, excitement . . . Too cool! Great job aunt Debbie! (lost this picture somehow- try again soon)

Then it was time clean up- somewhat. Debbie really wanted them to be purple for a couple days, but she didn't want fingerprints all over her house either . . .
After she washed them up halfway, Uncle Ron had heard that Isaiah was missing out on the "boys trip" to CO that Daddy and Michael were on, so he offered Isaiah a temporary driver's license to "Debbie's" tractor (Uncle Ron's is the BIGGER one). Isaiah jumped on the offer and Ron was soooo patient with him. . . . . He drove around and around and around their huge yard for 4 or 5 whole minutes- with the biggest grin on his face. He tried to knock Ron's head off a couple times going too close to the trees . . . finally, Ron asked him if he could park Debbie's tractor back in the garage, and Isaiah did- all by himself!!! He was thrilled to tell big brother about HIS big adventure!!!

7-22-07 Baby Caleb- 1 week old

As you all know, Amy and Rhonda are the photographers in the family, but I tried myself right after Caleb was born. These are pictures I took of Caleb in Robert's hands at only 1 week to the day old. . . Don't know that I shared them with anyone way back then, but I took them! :)

Aw- look how little his feet were!!! And to think that his 1st birthday is 2 1/2 weeks away and those little feet are already daring to walk on their own . . . guess it does go fast . . . Lizziebear gave her new little brother lots of "welcome home" kisses . . .

Not as good as a real photographer could have done, but I'm still glad that I got brave, tried, and have these ?last? Trujillo baby baby pics preserved forever . . . I was thinking of Nyketa holding new 6 lbish Baby Cadence, and how nice that is . . . I told Robert that I'm ready for another baby 'cause Caleb isn't a baby baby anymore- his answser--- "Are you outta your mind?"
These pics were taken 7-22-07.

Getting too big . . . 3-08 pics

Ok, so amazingly all four mice, I mean children, I mean cherubs, are sleeping, so I have a minute to try to figure this out! Pictures are proving a little difficult, but I will do my best. I plan on putting up new and old postings randomly as my memories hit me. . . Since I started having children, everyone has told me to enjoy it while it lasts because they grow up too quickly. Some days I agree and some days I don't, but every time I see my children walk away from me down the hallway, for years now, my though has always been, "One of these times they are going to walk back out here, and I'm going to realize that they are TOO BIG, and they have actually grown up TOO FAST, as everyone is always telling me they will." So, one day I decided to take pictures of my babies, while they were still babies, walking away from me down the hallway. Sounds weird, I know, and if I hadn't told you that story, you'd probably think I'd completely lost my lid, but I haven't, not yet at least. So now I'll attempt to put up those pics. . . Cross your fingers . . . Didn't work first time, trying again . . . and again . . . (I'm sure it's the computer's fault!) . . . we'll just try one pic now . . .
Got it! On this particular day, they were playing "Mommies and Daddies and babies" (a common theme at our house) and then they all left to walk down the hallway (well, maybe it was suggested to them on this particular day, nevertheless, they did . . . )
And the stopped to visit in the hall . . . It's amazing how they cover the babies' carseats just like Mommy does, to protect from the kansas wind, and Elizabeth normally puts her whole arm through the handle, just like Mommy does. . . nevertheless, they all returned down the hall today, normal size, and goofy as ever! These Mommies & Daddies & Babies play day pictures were taken in March of 2008.

Introduction

So, you want to learn more about my MICE? It is an acronym for my children, 3 boys and a girl- Michael, Isaiah, Caleb, and Elizabeth. They are me. Everything I do revolves around them, for the good or bad, happy or sad-- Including right now. I've focused on this blog and not them for too long and they are getting out of control! Gotta go assist in the cleaning process. :)
